She received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Washington State University and went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law. Prior to attending law school, Tara served as a registered representative with a national broker/dealer. Formerly responsible for day-to-day trust administration, Tara now supervises those duties. Her primary responsibility involves coordination of the firm’s operational and compliance requirements, although she is known to jump in as the tasks at hand require. She is a sought-after speaker on the subject of probate and trust administration.

Senior Portfolio Manager
As our Senior Portfolio Manager, Julie is responsible for investment research and analysis, client service, conducting trades, and assisting in all aspects of managing client portfolios. She has worked in the investment business for over 25 years, with a strong track record over the years in portfolio management, equity analysis, and client service. Prior to joining Allen Trust Company, Julie served as Vice President, Director of Research and Portfolio Manager for MKG Financial Group. Earlier in her career, Julie served as a portfolio manager at the Crabbe Huson Group, as well as an equity analyst at S.G. Warburg and Jennifer Black and Associates. She received her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with an emphasis in Economics from Stanford University and her Master of Business Administration from Marylhurst University. Julie has studied and worked in Berlin, Germany and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Julio’s career spans more than 20 years with an emphasis on equity analysis and corporate development. He has a strong track record in public and private equity markets balancing financial analysis and diligence, competitive analysis, and a global markets perspective. As a Portfolio Manager at Allen Trust Company, Mr. Quinteros is responsible for performing investment research and analysis, client services, and assisting in all aspects of managing client portfolios. In his previous efforts at Opus, he was a Senior Vice President responsible for strategy, M&A, and corporate development. Prior to this position, his career included a 17-year period as a Wall Street equity research analyst where he started at Credit Suisse, followed by 15-years at global investment bank Goldman Sachs. As a senior equity analyst, he led the IT Services research effort at Goldman Sachs where his coverage included a diverse set of enterprise facing and financial technology companies. During his tenure at Goldman, Julio ranked as the top stock Internet and Computer Services stock picker in the 2006 Wall Street Journal Annual Analyst Ranking survey. He placed among the top stock pickers in his sector in 2009 and 2012. Mr. Quinteros holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Southern California.

Financial Planner / Trust Officer
responsible for developing and managing Allen Trust Company’s
financial planning services. Allison creates a customized,
comprehensive roadmap for each client. Depending on specific needs,
she can cover everything from basic financial literacy and
budgeting, to assisting with investment and retirement plans.
Allison also works with trust clients providing trust administration
services. Prior to joining Allen Trust Company, Allison worked in
the investment consulting industry, providing business development
and marketing services for more than ten years. She also lived and
worked in Ireland and England for five years before returning to her
native Oregon. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree
from Trinity College Dublin (The University of Dublin), an Executive
Certificate of Financial Planning from the University of Portland,
Pamplin School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Communications from the University of Portland

With over 30 years of
wealth management and trust administration experience, Kathleen
brings extensive knowledge in handling every aspect of trust
administration. She carries out the letter and spirit of trust
agreements to bring grantors’ wishes to fruition, and helps families
transitioning from one stage of life to the next. In addition, she
also supports family foundations, administers various types of
individual retirement accounts and settles estates. Prior to joining
Allen Trust Company, Kathleen served as Vice President and Senior
Trust Officer at First Republic Trust Company, U.S. Trust Company,
Wells Fargo and as Assistant Vice President and Trust Officer at
Bank of California. She is a graduate of Cannon Financial Institute
and holds the professional designation of Certified Trust and
Financial Advisor (CTFA).

Carrie has over 26 years of experience in trust administration and wealth management. Prior to joining Allen Trust Company, she served as Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager at SunTrust Banks, Inc., and as Vice President and Trust Officer at Regions Bank. Earlier in her career, Carrie served as a registered representative and principal for a Tennessee broker-dealer managing its compliance functions. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Management and Human Relations cum laude from Trevecca University, graduated with honors from Cannon Financial Institute, and received her Certificate in Financial Planning from Belmont University. Carrie holds the professional designation of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA), and her responsibilities at Allen Trust Company include trust administration and new business development.

Jodi’s experience as accounting manager for a private equity group and executive assistant in a busy law practice, combined with more than 13 years in residential real estate sales provide her the abilities and knowledge to provide support across the board at Allen Trust Company and to deliver professional and confidential client service. She is happy to be back in Oregon, near her family, after living in Denver, Colorado for more than 25 years.
Stephen is a Certified
Public Accountant. Prior to joining Allen Trust Company, he worked
as an accountant at a local CPA firm, with emphasis on business and
individual tax preparation and financial statement audits for
non-profit organizations. He earned a Bachelor of Science in
Political Science from the University of Oregon before attending
Portland State University, where he received a Post-Baccalaureate
Accounting Certificate. Stephen is responsible for assisting clients
with tax returns and other tax related services.

With more than a decade worth of experience in the trust and wealth management firms, Andreas is responsible for evaluating and monitoring information systems to meet Allen Trust Company’s high standards for security and compliance. With his design, programming and management skills, he is continuously improving our operational and technology infrastructures to keep our firm humming and ready to serve our client’s needs. In addition, his willingness and availability to explain technical issues to the staff and clients is invaluable. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from George Fox University and his Master’s degree in Computer Science from Portland State University.

President and CEO of Allen Trust Company and Allen Capital Management, Stuart is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) and an attorney with more than two decades of experience in trust services and investment management. Prior to founding Allen Trust Company and Allen Capital Management, Stuart served in two of the largest national bank trust departments in Oregon. Stuart earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance & Political Science from the University of Oregon before earning his Juris Doctor at Texas Wesleyan University. Stuart guides the overall direction of the firm, is active in trust administration, and helps shape the investment policy for the company.
