Allen Trust Company Names Rich Callahan to Board of Directors

Business Leader to Drive Strategy  

PORTLAND, Ore.  — Allen Trust Company announced today the appointment of Rich Callahan to its Board of Directors. Callahan will take over for Vern Cameron, a legacy member who had been a board member since its inception.

Rich Callahan’s Background

As a former Big Four partner (KPMG and Arthur Andersen), he leverages extensive experience as a strategic advisor to the board and management of emerging and established multinational corporations across a variety of industries. With a background in advisory work, Rich applies a holistic viewpoint to problem-solving that elevates discussion and earns buy-in toward change.

Rich currently serves on the boards of Forest City Trading Group and Allen Trust Company. Previously, he served in various leadership roles at KPMG , including Portland Office Managing Partner , Partner-in-Charge of the Pacific Northwest Audit Practice and U.S. Partner-in-Charge of Audit Growth, where he played a key role in shaping the firm-wide professional services strategy during a period of significant economic volatility.

He has a proven record of cultivating cultures of inclusion and accountability with a priority on taking care of people and putting clients first. All core values that strongly align with those of Allen Trust Company. Rich earned a BS in Accounting from the University of Oregon and is a licensed CPA in Oregon and Washington.
